The Hullinger Family

     
     
 

xDaniel Hullinger was born in Lancaster County Pennsylvania on March 12 1757.

He was the son of Christian Hullinger

He was a teamster in the Continental Army and was discharged as First Lieutenant.

After the war he went to Shenandoah County, Virginia.

He married Ann Shockey, who was born on December 6, 1767.

Jacob Hullinger (1788),
 Valentine Hullinger (1793, married Elizabeth Maggart)
 John Hullinger (1795)
 Abraham Hullinger (1801)
 Nancy Hullinger Maggart (1803, married Reuben Maggart)
 Mary Hullinger McIntire (1808)

They moved to Champaign County, Ohio, about 1788.

Ann died August 20, 1836 and Daniel died in 1839. They are buried in Rector Cemetery.

... Christopher and Mary (Crabb) Hullinger, who settled in Auglaize Township, this county, in 1840, and there lived and died. Natives of Virginia, they came to Ross County, Ohio, while it was a territory.

They had eleven children:

Jeremiah,
John,
Nancy (Mrs. William Stevenson),
Margaret (Mrs. Isaac Shannon),
Harriet (Mrs. Daniel Hill),
Priscilla (Mrs. John Bayliff),
